Major Jennifer M. Edgren

             Major Jennifer M. Edgren is a native of Merritt Island, Florida and graduated from University of Florida with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Sports Management. She was commissioned in August 2009 through the OCC Program. Upon graduation from The Basic School in May 2010, she reported to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron (MALS) 31, Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, SC, and served as Aviation Life Support Systems and Cryogenics Officer. In July 2010, she attended Aviation Maintenance Officer School, Naval Air Station Whiting Field, Florida. In July 2011, Major Edgren reported to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 122 (VMFA-122) where she served as the Assistant Aircraft Maintenance Officer (AAMO) and deployed in support of the Unit Deployment Program to Iwakuni, Japan.

           In August 2013, Major Edgren checked into Marine & Family, Wounded Warrior Regiment, Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA, where she served as Assistant Operations Officer and Protocol Officer coordinating special events with HQMC CMC Special Projects Directorate. Thereafter, she was selected for resident Expeditionary Warfare School (EWS) and graduated EWS May 2017.

            In June 2017, she was assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 164 (VMM-164), Camp Pendleton, CA, where she served as the AAMO and deployed with SPMAGTF-CR-CC 18.2 in support of Operation INHERENT RESOLVE. In September 2017, she attended Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1) Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) course 17-2 Advanced Aviation Maintenance Officer (AAMOC) School, acquired the 6077 MOS, and continued to support MAWTS-1 as an instructor for WTI AAMOC Courses and Advanced Aviation Maintenance Manager (A2M2) Courses.  

            In July 2019, Major Edgren checked into I Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) and served as the G-37 I MEF Readiness Officer and supported Force Design 2030 readiness endeavors in coordination with HQMC Plans, Policies, & Operations, Readiness Branch.

            In August 2020, Major Edgren checked into Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade as the Directorate of Logistics Operations Officer, Prince Sultan Air Base Construction Project Officer in support of SPMAGTF 21.2, and the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit Logistics Liaison Officer. In this capacity, she served as the logistics planner for the Joint Maritime Component Commander in support of Operation OCTAVE QUARTZ, coordinating the repositioning of U.S. forces in Somalia to other Eastern African operating locations. Also, from April to August 2021, she served as the Joint Task Force-Crisis Response Logistics Operations Officer in support of Operation ALLIES REFUGE to help recover and support personnel in the Afghanistan Non-combatant Evacuation Operation.

In September 2021, Major Edgren checked into Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron (MALS) 39 and served as the Operations Officer until March 2023.

Major Jennifer Edgren is a graduate of Norwich University (2017), Master of Business Administration in Project Management.
