Cpl. Mark Willoughby Jr., an air command and control electronics operator with Marine Tactical Air Command Squadron 38 and an Artesia, Calif. native breaks ground during a ceremony for a long-awaited obstacle course aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif. Aug. 22. Within days of Willoughby asking the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing commanding general why this instillation did not have an obstacle course, Marine Wing Support Squadron 373 we tasked with building the first one here.
