Cpl. Todd Gildersleeve, aviation technician and aerial observer with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 462, gives a small lesson on the squadron’s history in the 1950s during the 70th anniversary celebration of HMH-462 aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., April 26. Gildersleeve says he enjoys learning more about his squadron’s history because it gives him added pride in his job.
