A family herds their sheep back into town at sunset at An Nukhayb, Iraq Jan. 29. The small town went about their normal lives while Marines and Iraqi election workers prepared their town to take part in their country's first democratic elections ever. The historic event was watched by the world, but the participants were small town Iraqi families who helped make another big step towards a democratic Iraq.
