After landing an F/A-18D Hornet from Marine All Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 242, Marine Aircraft Group 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, for the last time as the wing's commanding general, Maj. Gen. Keith J. Stalder receives a plaque from Lt. Col. Christorpher J. Mahoney, commanding officer, VMFA(AW)-242, commemorating his time at the wing's helm. Stalder will relinquish command of 3rd MAW to Maj. Gen. Samuel T. Helland, and will next assume command of Training and Education Command, Marine Corps Combat Development Center, Quantico, Va.
