Preparing for flight Feb. 28, Sgt. Nicolas Glyshaw, a native of Colorado Springs, Colo., goes through the pre-flight checklist at Al Taqaddum, Iraq. Glyshaw is an unmanned aerial vehicle mechanic with Marine Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron 1, Marine Air Control Group 38, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing. The squadron is responsible for several support missions during Operation Iraqi Freedom and is nearing the completion of their third deployment to Iraq with more than 3,000 flight hours in seven months.
