A CH-53D Sea Stallion flies over the Helmand province countryside during an early morning troop insertion mission. The Sea Stallion from Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 362, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward), completes several transport missions throughout the Regional Command (Southwest) area of operation each day. CH-53D's are used to transport cargo and International Security Assistance and coalition forces across the regional quickly and safely.
