Staff Sgt. Uriah Gruber, the training chief for the Crash, Fire and Rescue section, Marine Wing Support Squadron 373, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward), opens the door of an up-armored vehicle and engages the locking mechanisms while the Marines have an open period of instruction on how to safely and efficiently remove the doors in an emergency situation Jan. 25. The Marines, assigned to the Tactical Response Team, train on unserviceable vehicles to prepare for real-life scenarios and receive hands-on experience with their equipment.
