Maj. John Pelzer (left), of Yorba Linda, Calif. and Capt. Michael Wyrsch, of Silver Spring , Md., fire control officers with Marine Aerial Refueler Squadron 352, scan video monitors for enemy activity aboard the Harvest Hawk March 26. The modified KC-130J is staffed with officers who have experience conducting close-air-support. The aircraft is equipped with Hellfire and Griffin missiles and is ready to support ground troops at a moment’s notice.
