An awards ceremony in honor of four Marines from various squadrons in Marine Aircraft Group 39 is scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at MCAS Camp Pendleton.

Awardees will include Sgt. Austin Cox and former Sgt. Michael Vura, both of Marine Light Attack Helicopter Training Squadron (HMLAT) 303, who will be presented with the Navy and Marine Corps Medal in recognition of their selfless service in helping victims escape to safety following the Las Vegas shooting Oct. 1, 2017.
