Major Brooke A. Campbell
Commanding Officer, Headquarters Squadron 39, Marine Aircraft Group 39

Major Campbell was born in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Rocky River High School. She attended the Naval Academy and earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a concentration in Astronautical Engineering upon graduation in 2009. As a newly commissioned Second Lieutenant, Major Campbell completed the Basic Officer’s Course at The Basic School in 2010. She went on to Naval Flight Training in Pensacola, Florida after finishing Introductory Flight Screening (IFS) in Manassas, VA.

Gunnery Sergeant Korey H. Norman
First Sergeant Headquarters Squadron 39, Marine Aircraft Group 39

Gunnery Sergeant Norman enlisted in the Marine Corps April 7, 2008, and attended Recruit Training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Paris Island, South Carolina. Upon graduation, Private First Class Norman attended Marine Combat Training aboard Camp Geiger, North Carolina. In August of 2008, Private First Class Norman reported to Naval Air Technical Training Center Pensacola, Florida for the Aviation Ordnance Technician Organizational Level Course, where he received the MOS of 6531. In October he attended the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Marine Unit, Camp Pendleton California, where he was selected as the honor graduate and subsequently meritoriously promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal.
