MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – Petty Officer 2nd Class Mark Skaggs, an aeromedical safety corpsman with Marine Aircraft Group 39 and Pensacola, Fla. native, demonstrates how to use a tourniquet during an Improvised Sudden Attack First Emergency Response (IMSAFER) course aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Dec. 14. The IMSAFER course covered life-saving techniques for use in potentially life-threatening scenarios.
