Mission Statement Under 3rd MAW

Support the MAGTF commander by providing assault support transport of combat troops, supplies, and equipment, day or night, under all weather conditions during expeditionary, joint, or combined operations.

Commanding Officer, Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 466

Lieutenant Colonel Early is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a concentration in Astronomy with a minor in math. Upon completion of OCS and graduation from college, 2ndLt Early was commissioned in May 2005. He reported to Quantico, VA for introductory flight screening followed by The Basic School.

Sergeant Major Martinez is a native of Gallup, New Mexico. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in September 1996.  Reported to Recruit Training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, California (Ca) in January 1997.
