The MAG-13 Group Chaplain and the Religious Ministry Team (RMT) are honored to serve the Marines, Sailors, and their families who make their home in Yuma. The Chaplains and Religious Program Specialists (RP) at MAG-13 understand the sacrifices Marines and Sailors make, and the duties they are called upon to perform. The MAG-13 RMT is here to:

·       PROVIDE faith-based counseling and religious studies, Bible studies, public prayers, and outreach events.

·       FACILITATE the religious needs of all, regardless of their faith to ensure Freedom of Religion is honored. Provisions for the free exercise of religion are facilitated through the MAG-13 RMT and Lay Leaders.

·       CARE is given for all through counseling, visible workplace visitation, training, family and relationship support, hospital and brig visitation.

·       ADVISE. The RMT provides advisement for leaders on command climate, religious accommodation, ethics, morale, and confidentiality.

The MAG-13 RMT collaborates with the RMT at MCAS Yuma Station Chapel, where religious services are held every Sunday and Wednesday. An online directory of churches and religious organizations in the Yuma area can also be found on the MCAS Yuma Station Chapel (https://www.mcasyuma.marines.mil/Resources/Chapel/)

The MAG-13 RMT works with the Chaplains Religious Enrichment Development Operation (CREDO) at Marine Corps Installations-West (MCI-West). CREDO MCI-West Team provides regionally based religious ministry designed to assist the Marine Corps community in developing the personal, relational, and spiritual resources necessary to increase the personal resilience of Marines and their families, and enhance mission readiness. All programs and events are available to service members free of charge. CREDO MCI-WEST provides high-quality, innovative retreats and workshops that strengthen personal and relationship resiliency and promote spiritual and emotional growth. These opportunities are free of cost to Active Duty personnel and their families. See the CREDO website for more detailed information, and application forms.www.mccscp.com/credomciwest
