Sergeant Major Kashi enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2004, and completed recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina on July 19, 2004 she graduated from 4th Recruit Training Battalion, Papa Company.     

After completing boot camp Private First Class Kashi reported to Camp Johnson in Jacksonville, NC for Marine Combat Training. Once completing school on August 19, 2005 Private First Class reported to Fort Leonard MO.  Private First Class Kashi attended Motor Transport Operator School in October 10, 2004.  Private First Class Kashi was promoted to Lance Corporal on September 1, 2004.  In September 24, 2004 Lance Corporal Kashi graduated her Military Occupational Skills School and received the MOS of 3531.     

Lance Corporal Kashi reported to the School of Infantry, Motor Transportation Company, Camp Pendleton, CA, in 2004.  During this period Lance Corporal Kashi held the billets of Dispatcher and Vehicle Quality Control.  Lance Corporal Kashi was promoted to Corporal on September 1, 2005.  Corporal Kashi reported to 8th Engineer Support Battalion, Camp Lejeune, NC in 2006, where she was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Sergeant on May 2, 2007.  From August 2007 to March 2008, Sergeant Kashi deployed to Fallujah, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as the Line Non-Commissioned Officer.       

On 2008, Sergeant  Kashi reported to Parris Island, South Carolina for Drill Instructors School.  In October 2008, Sergeant Kashi completed Drill Instructor School and received the MOS of 0911.  Sergeant Kashi was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant on August 2, 2010.  Staff Sergeant Kashi served the billets of Drill Instructor, Senior Drill Instructor and Chief Drill Instructor from 2008-2012.  Staff Sergeant Kashi reported to Drill Instructor School, Parris Island, SC, to serve as a Drill Instructor School Instructor on March 2012.  Staff Sergeant Kashi held the billets of Squad Instructor and Marine Corps Common Skills Instructor.     

On December 2012, Staff Sergeant Kashi reported to Combat Logistic Battalion 1, Camp Pendleton, CA where she served as the Platoon Sergeant and Company Gunnery Sergeant.  In March 2015, Staff Sergeant Kashi deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.  Staff Sergeant Kashi reported to Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron 3, Marine Corps Base, HI as the Motor Transport Chief in May 2016.  Staff Sergeant Kashi was promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant on August 2016.  

On June 2017, Gunnery Sergeant Kashi assumed the duties as the Squadron Gunnery Sergeant.  On May 2018, Gunnery Sergeant reported to Officer Candidate School, Quantico Virginia as Platoon Sergeant, Academics Instructor and Staff Non-Commission Officer, Training Support Platoon.  On August 21, 2020 Gunnery Sergeant Kashi was frocked to the rank of First Sergeant.       

First Sergeant Kashi reported to 3d Landing Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 3, Okinawa Japan, where she served as the Company First Sergeant for Landing Support Company, Motor Transport Company and Head Quarters Company.
On August 2023, First Sergeant Kashi reported to Marine Wing Support Squadron 373, Marine Corps Air Station as the Company First Sergeant for Airfield Operations Company.
First Sergeant Kashi was promoted to the rank of Sergeant Major on June 2024 and is currently the SgtMaj for VMM-163.

Sergeant Major Kashi's personal awards include Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal (fifth award) and Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal.   

Sergeant Major Kashi's educational accomplishments includes an Associates Degree in Elementary Education from Portland Community College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
