Lance Cpl. Sam Monroe, a crew chief with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 369 “Gunfighters,” 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, and a Red Bank, N.J., native, looks for other aircraft that is flying in the area during a flight aboard Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, Calif., April 29. When the squadron first stood up in the 1960’s, they were known as the “Pistol Pete’s” because of their gunslinger character logo.
