Sgt. Maj. Angela Maness, the Marine Barracks Washington sergeant major, inscribes books during a two-day Committed and Engaged Leadership Seminar, in Washington, D.C., Sept. 6. Maness is the first female sergeant major of “Oldest Post of the Corps” and served as an inspiration to many during the seminar.
