Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Gregory Cannon, a corpsman with Marine Aircraft Group 16 and a St. Louis native, explains what the Sailor’s Creed means to him at an evening colors ceremony aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., Oct. 3. In recognition of the U.S. Navy’s 238th birthday, the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing hosted an evening colors ceremony run entirely by petty officers second class.
