Sgt. Jason Pranke, a drill instructor with 2nd Battalion, Hotel Co. and Hampton, Va., native, and Sgt. Juan Arvizu, a drill instructor with 2nd Battalion, Hotel Co. and Crockett, Texas, native swim out to rescue fellow classmates during a Marine Corps Instructor of Water Survival course aboard Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, Calif., Nov. 1. The Marines swam approximately 500 meters out to sea during the three week course which ends Nov. 8.
