Lt. Col. Jacob Matt, center, Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 462 commanding officer and Sgt. Maj. Rudy Tobias, left, HMH-462 squadron sergeant major, greet retired Lt. Col. William Duncan, former HMH-462 commanding officer from 1963 to 1964, during the squadron’s 70th Anniversary celebration aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., April 26. Duncan shared some of his fondest memories with the squadron. One of them included a flight mission flown into the Grand Canyon National Park by five CH-37s.
