Cpl. Jordan Mercado, a newly promoted corporal and an expeditionary airfield system technician with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, asks a question during a question and answer portion of a three-day Committed and Engaged Leadership Indoctrination Course aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., June 3-5. Newly promoted corporals from 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing and the air station were invited to come and learn what it means to be a noncommissioned officer and about their new responsibilities.
