Clayton Leis, a military spouse with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 163, kicks during his turn up at the plate during a kickball tournament aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., June 14. Leis played on the Dragons team, consisting of spouses, Marines and sailors of Marine Aircraft Group 16 and Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 232. The Committed and Engaged Spouses’ Sports League was developed as part of Commanding General Maj. Gen. Steven Busby’s Committed and Engaged Spouse initiative. The initiative highlights military spouses for their service and sacrifice, and works to develop opportunities for camaraderie.
