Laranisha Cutolo, a military spouse and Gainesville, Fla., native, slides into second base during a kickball tournament, aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., June 14. Cutolo played on the Huskies team, consisting of members of Marine Aircraft Group 16 Marines and spouses. The Committed and Engaged Spouses’ Sports League was developed as part of Commanding General Maj. Gen. Steven Busby’s Committed and Engaged Spouse initiative. The initiative highlights military spouses for their service and sacrifice, and works to develop opportunities for camaraderie.
