MARINE CORPS AIR STATION CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – Cpl. Noah Schultz, a Marine Light Attack Helicopter (HMLA) 469 UH-1W crew chief, scans the horizon for threats during a simulated tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel (TRAP) mission on Marine Corps base Camp Pendleton, Aug. 23. Simulated TRAP exercises give HMLA-469 pilots muscle memory experience to operate mission essential tasks seamlessly during forward deployed operations.
