U.S. Marines with 3rd Low Altitude Air Defense (LAAD) Battalion pose for a photo after volunteering at Maie Ellis Elementary for their afterschool programs in Fallbook, Calif., Sept. 27. Marines paced the students around the track and showed them the importance of maintaining a "never quit" attitude. More than 500 students ran laps as part of the school's fundraising efforts toward reading programs and after-school activities.
