A Marine with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 211 launches an F-35B Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter from the deck aboard Her Majesty's Ship (HMS) Queen Elizabeth at sea on 10 October, 2020. VMFA-211 is deployed aboard HMS Queen Elizabeth to conduct training with their United Kingdom counterparts in preparation for the UK's Carrier Strike Group deployment this spring. The U.S. Marine Corps is supporting this historic deployment in support of USMC, DoD, National and Allied objectives.
