Schick (left) is met by his former high school football coach, Eric Jones of Coppell High School in Coppell, Texas, at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, Dec. 28, 2004, where he is recovering from his wounds suffered while in Iraq. Schick, then with Company B, 1st Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment, was wounded three weeks after arriving in Iraq when his vehicle struck a mine near Al Asad, Sep. 20, 2004.
