Lance Cpl. Brandon L. Wilson, 20-year-old native of Gosher, Ohio, and airframe mechanic with Marine Attack Squadron 311, Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, Al Asad, Iraq, reaches deep inside of an AV-8B Harrier II during repairs Dec. 12. Airframe mechanics are responsible for the framework and hydraulics of the jet and ensuring its safety while conducting missions in the air.
