Jan 29, 2005
A group of Marines from Battery G, 2nd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, set up concertina wire around the polling site at An Nukhayb, Iraq Jan. 29. The small Bedouin town, located 250 miles southwest of Baghdad, is one of the small towns that have received constant help from the "Golf" Battery, since it's arrival last September. The Battery has maintained a constant presence in the town and helps the locals with many things, including catching carjackers, the biggest crime in the area.
