The Thunderbolts of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 251 conduct a low-power turn-on on one of the squadron's F/A-18C Hornets at Al Asad, Iraq, Sept. 1. The Thunderbolts are home based at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, S.C., and have stopped in Iraq for a two-month deployment to support operations in the Al Anbar Province. VMFA-251 is currently attached to Carrier Air Wing One, Carrier Strike Group Twelve.
