Sgt. Matthew P. Howell explains a problem on the white board during Sgt. Roger D. Huffstetler's college algebra class at Al Asad, Iraq, Oct. 13. Huffstetler and his two assistants, Howell and Cpl. Cory A. Crane, have guided their 23 students through the course offered by Park University while deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The three instructors and their students are members of Marine Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 3, Marine Central Command. Huffstetler is the squadron operations chief and a Newnom, Ga., native. Crane is an ordnance technician and Wasilla, Ala., native. Howell is an electronic countermeasures technician.
