Sgt. Jacob Cobb, crew chief, Marine Aerial Transport Squadron 352, Marine Aircraft Group 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, was one of the crew of a KC-130J that assisted in locating a downed civilian aircraft near Chowchilla, Calif. Sept 19. Cobb and the rest of the crew were conducting a routine training mission, when they received a signal from the downed aircraft. The aircrew circled overhead for an hour and directed local law enforcement to the crash site.
