A local Iraqi digs a ditch during the construction of a liquid propane gas distribution center in Baghdadi, Iraq, June 19. The distribution center is a construction project that is being paid for by local Iraqi contractors, which is a huge step in the reconstruction of Iraq. The locals have also started a number of their own projects without the help or resources of the American government. All of the past reconstruction projects were paid for by the U.S. military.
