Cpl. Brad White (left) and Lance Cpl. Jonathan N. Alphin inspect the arresting gear during a daily inspection at Al Asad, Iraq, July 14. White and Alphin, both expeditionary airfield Marines, Marine Wing Support Squadron 274, Marine Wing Support Group 37, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, have many responsibilities involved with the flight line, including maintaining and inspecting the arresting gear as well as all the lights around the runway.
