Gunnery Sgt. Mark E. Dumdie, Enhanced Marksmanship Program instructor and squadron gunnery sergeant, Marine Wing Support Squadron 374, Marine Wing Support Group 37, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, instructs Marines on the proper way to stand while firing the M16A2 service rifle Dec. 5 at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz. Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadrons 374, 373 and 371 attended the day-long EMP course designed to put them in a combat mindset while they increase their basic ability to operate the rifle or pistol in a battlefield environment. The EMP course is a part of Exercise Desert Talon, which is designed to prepare Marine aviation units for their upcoming deployment to Iraq
