Lance Cpl. Chad A. Vance, network administrator, Marine Wing Communications Squadron 38, Marine Air Control Group 38, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, hugs his wife Samantha at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Aug. 4 after a seven-month deployment to Iraq. The 52 Marines with MWCS-38, who returned to Miramar, originally deployed in January. "This is unbelievable," said Vance. "I can't even say the words to describe it. I missed my wife and kids, Tiera and Malik, the most. I'm just ecstatic to be back after that deployment. I'm so happy, it hurts."
