An RQ-2B Pioneer unmanned aerial vehicle is attached to the pneumatic launch truck before takeoff at Al Taqaddum, Iraq, Feb. 28. The Pioneer is used for basic reconnaissance with a variety of missions ranging from collecting data for battle damage assessments to calling in air support as a forward observer.
