Small lines form at pharmacy windows at Haditha Hospital Oct. 30. The hospital, once a benchmark medical facility in the region, has been reduced to almost "primitive" capabilities, according to Col. Dwight Shen, the team leader for a key leader engagement that brought Army Medical officers from the 345th Combat Support Hospital at Al Asad to Haditha Hospital. The engagement was the first step toward establishing a partnership between the two hospitals designed to revitalize the Iraqi medical facility.
