Corporal Clifford Sandy, a vehicle operator with Police Transition Team 23, has a conversation with an Iraqi policeman at a local police station with the help of an Arabic-to-English dictionary. Before deploying, the team learned about Iraqi customs and was taught a limited amount of Arabic through pre-deployment training.
