Staff Sgt. Travis R, Samons, a UH-1Y "Venom" crew chief with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 367, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, I Marine Expeditionary Force, fastens its main rotor blades aboard a C-17 "Globemaster" III for transport to Afghanistan aboard Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, Oct. 20. The Marines worked with loadmasters from the 729th Airlift Squadron, based at March Air Force Base, secure a winch for loading the aircraft aboard the Globemaster.
