Twenty-two assorted aircraft from Marine Light Attack Helicopter Training Squadron 303, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force fly over Marine Corps Air Station Miramar's flight line May 4. The flight was carried out to demonstrate the aerial capabilities of the squadron. Maj. Gen. Thomas L. Conant, commanding general of 3rd MAW piloted the lead aircraft, an AH-1W "Super Cobra." Other aircraft involved in the training exercise were the AH-1Z "Viper," UH-1N "Huey" and the UH-1Y "Yankee."
