Marines from Marine Wing Support Squadron 373, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward), hammer down matting while constructing a forward arming and refueling point under the cover of darkness in support of Operation Steel Dawn II Oct. 27. The FARP allowed aviation assets to refuel and rearm just a few miles away from Barham Chah, a critical logistics hub for insurgent forces, which was raided by Taskforce Highlander Oct. 29-30. The taskforce consisted of 3rd MAW (Fwd), 1st Marine Division, and other coalition and Afghan units.
