A Marine with Marine Wing Support Squadron 172, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward), sprays a layer of "rhino snot" on to the deck during the recent construction of a helicopter-landing zone. A key step in the construction and improvement of HLZs, the substance is a soil-stabilizer which hardens the dirt, preventing excessive kick-up when aircraft land.
