U.S. Marines with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 169, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), load and fire an AGM-179 Joint Air-to-Ground Missile (JAGM) in support of exercise Steel Knight 23 at Chocolate Mountain Aerial Gunnery Range, California, Dec. 13, 2022. The JAGM is a precision-guided munition for use against high value stationary, moving, and relocatable land and maritime targets.
