Lt. Col. Samuel Smith, the commanding officer of Marine Attack Squadron 513, left, and Sgt. Maj. Raquel Painter, the sergeant major of VMA-513, right, case the colors of the United States as a symbolic gesture of the squadron's dissipation during VMA-513's Deactivation Ceremony, July 12, at the squadron hangar aboard Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz. The Marines and aircraft of VMA-513 will now disperse and join other Marine Corps Harrier squadrons.
