Sgt. Aaron M. LaMothe explains to Cpl. Sean W. Banks the purpose of items inside a pilot's survival vest inside the Aviation Life Support System section at Al Taqaddum, Iraq, May 12, 2006. The section's Marines are responsible for repairing and maintaining the personalized gear as well as environmental systems onboard UH-1N Huey and AH-1W Super Cobra helicopters belonging to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 169, Marine Aircraft Group 16 (Reinforced), 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing. Lamothe is a flight equipment technician and Kenosha, Wis., native. Banks is a flight equipment technician and Reading, Pa., native.
