Cpl. Jason M. Folk communicates with a local national sheep herder that his team came across during a perimeter patrol outside of Al Asad, Iraq, June 21. Folk is a vehicle commander with Perimeter Patrol Team south, 2nd Platoon, Echo Company, 1st Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, Marine Wing Support Group 37 (Reinforced), 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing. He is a native of Las Vegas.
