Sergeant Major Nunez assumed his current assignment as the Marine Wing Support Squadron 371 (MWSS-371) Sergeant Major on 22 November 2024.  A native of Oakland, California, he entered the Marine Corps in January of 2001 and attended Recruit Training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) San Diego with 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, Kilo Company.
